Just wanted to bump my endorsement and nomination for the next referee of this sub:

The NHL is Bush League. Watch the Bruins run Andersen hack him spear him kick him all game long. The refs will allow it. Why? Oh it's the playoffs. "Toughen up" the pundits will say. Frederick Andersen is a superstar player in the NHL until the rules change for the playoffs. Utter bullpoop.

I’d agree with all this, but his compete lately doesn’t give me confidence. I don’t give guys a pass because we know they can be better. Fwiw I think playing on Kadri’s wing is the best spot for him. When he was on the 3rd line earlier in the year it got him out of his slump, and playing a more defensive role should hold him more accountable.

No doubt Willy has been disappointing this year and it's hard to argue otherwise even if you point out his poor shooting percentage. I do feel it's partly due to starting late, but get the counter arguments to that.

I just don't feel it's something that will be a continuing problem. He'll get back to form at some point. Players have career years and they have down years, it happens.

I do agree playing him with Kadri could be an important part of our strategy. If he can get Kadri scoring and they can generate offense, that will really increase our chances against Boston and beyond. If the Matthews line gets totally shut down though, I wonder if Willy gets reunited with him at some point. Probably depends on how well Willy and Kadri are doing.

1- Chicago

2- Buttalo

3- LA

I don't like it. I'm only gonna do it once more just before the draft starts. Hopefully I get some better results.

I'm actually surprised Mike gave the Leafs the advantage in goaltending.
It's a bit ironic that a goalie that puts up consistent numbers each year for the Leafs worries so many fans because of his inconsistency. It all depends which Andersen we see in this playoffs.
If we see Anders0n, then we have the advantage. If we see Anders5n, then we don't.

I want Willy back in my good graces, and I think he can get there. I’m not surprised in all the people defending him, but next time you sit down and watch the game with your friends ask them about Nylander. Everyone I know seems to think he deserves criticism. All the analysts, O-dog, Ferraro, Dreger, whoever,, all say the same thing. It’s not about what he did in his first two seasons, it’s what have you done lately. And lately, he’s been bad. People are really annoyed with him. If anything I’ve been sorta nice to him, saying I believe in him, or that he’ll rebound etc.. But the outrage community will try to crucify you for being hard on Zoolander. Empty vessels make the most noise.

Anybody know if there is a way to watch the lottery online tonight? I'm in the south and they don't even have all-dressed chips in this poophoe

Well that's just ridiculous.

Don't know about streaming the lottery, though. It's on Sportsnet, so maybe they'll have it on their site or maybe NHL.com will.
